More than a year after his departure, Laurențiu Reghecampf is back at Espérance Sportive de Tunis. Following the end of the season and the club’s decision not to extend French coach Christian Bracconi’s contract, the Blood and Gold management has once again turned to the Romanian tactician to lead the team into the upcoming campaign.

Since leaving Tunis, Reghecampf had taken charge of Sudanese side Al Hilal, continuing his coaching journey on the African continent. His return to Bab Souika is far from a surprise, as his first spell with the club had generally left a positive impression among supporters and observers alike.

During his five months in charge of Espérance, the Romanian coach managed to bring renewed energy and discipline to the team, both tactically and mentally, before eventually being replaced by Maher Kanzari.

Espérance now opens a new chapter with a familiar face on the bench, hoping to build on past experience and reclaim its ambitions on both the domestic and continental stages.

Welcome back to Laurențiu Reghecampf, and best of luck for this new adventure with the Blood and Gold.
