Espérance Sportive de Tunis (EST) lost to Espérance Sportive de Zarzis (ESZ) 1 - 2, the third loss in 13 maches for the Blood and Gold, this time at El Menzah Stadium. Disappointing for a team endeavouring to win Tunisia's Ligue 1!

Ammar Souayah's choice to leave his best on the bench did not pay out. It helped the guests to take the lead through Hamza Messaâdi (45'). Saâd Beguir's equalizer (63') proved of no use as Yassine Salhi scored the winner for ESZ (83').

Espérance line-up: Ben Chérifia, Mbarki, Rabiî, Machani, Diarra, Ragued (c), Reguiî (Khenissi 70'), Mhirsi (Jelassi 79'), Ben Youssef, Bguir and Jouini (Bulbwa 61').
