Officiel : Felipe Melo signe à l’Inter

L’Inter de Milan est décidément très actif en ce dernier jour de mercato. Peu après Adem Ljajic, les Intéristes ont officialisé la signature du milieu de Galatasaray Felipe Melo (32 ans).
L’international brésilien s’est en effet engagé jusqu’en 2017 chez les Nerazzurri. L’indemnité de transfert tourne autour des 3,5 M€. Felipe Melo a déjà évolué en Serie A à la Fiorentina et à la Juventus.

Officiel : Ljajic prêté à l’Inter Milan

Les clubs italiens sont friands de petits arrangements sur le marché des transferts et il n’est pas rare de voir les cadors du classement prêter des joueurs non désirés à des concurrents directs. Cette fois-ci, c’est l’AS Rome qui a accepté de céder, sous forme de prêt payant, l’attaquant, ou milieu offensif, Adem Ljajic à l’Inter Milan, comme l’indique le site du club milanais.
Il en coûtera 2 M€ aux Nerazzurri. L’option d’achat s’élève à 9 M€ selon les dernières indiscrétions venues d’Italie. Ljajic avait rejoint l’AS Rome en 2013 en provenance de la Fiorentina contre un chèque de 11 M€.

Officiel : l’Inter Milan enregistre l’arrivée d’Alex Telles

Décidément le dernier jour du mercato est mouvementé du côté de l’Inter Milan. Après avoir enregistré les renforts de Felipe Melo et d’Adem Ljajic, le club milanais officialise l’arrivée d’Alex Telles (22 ans).
Le latéral gauche, un temps dans le viseur du PSG, débarque en provenance de Galatasaray. Le transfert s’est effectué sous forme de prêt avec option d’achat.

Officiel : Blaszczykowski prêté à la Fiorentina

Peu après la signature d’Adnan Januzaj au BVB, le milieu polonais Jakub Blaszczykowski a de son côté pris la porte de sortie du Westfalenstadion. Le joueur est en effet prêté pour un an à la Fiorentina.
Champion d’Allemagne en 2011 et 2012 avec le Borussia, Kuba compte ainsi se mettre en valeur aux yeux de la sélection, comme l’a affirmé le directeur sportif du BVB Michael Zorc : « Il est important pour lui d’obtenir du temps de jeu en vue de l’Euro 2016 »

Officiel : Matri à la Lazio

Récemment courtisé notamment par l’OM, l’attaquant du Milan AC Alessandro Matri (31 ans) va finalement rester en Serie A. Il a en effet signé à la Lazio. Les détails de l’opération n’ont pas encore été révélés.
International italien, Matri a récemment été prêté à la Fiorentina, au Genoa et à la Juventus, où il n’a inscrit aucun but en une demi-saison.

Officiel : Ansaldi signe au Genoa

Pisté jadis par le PSG, le défenseur argentin du Zenith Saint Petersbourg Cristian Ansaldi (28 ans) s’est officiellement engagé avec le Genoa, comme le rapporte le site officiel du club génois. Il débarque en Italie sous forme de prêt avec une option d’achat dont le montant n’a pas été révélé.
International Argentin (5 sélections), Ansaldi était déjà prêté la saison dernière à l’Atletico Madrid. Il a notamment remporté 2 championnats de Russie.

Cristian Zaccardo (33 ans) va renforcer Carpi, promu cette saison en Serie A. Le club a annoncé son arrivée ce lundi, pour une durée de deux ans. Le défenseur international italien, champion du monde en 2006, évoluait la saison passée à l'AC Milan.

Serie A-J6 : La Roma refile 5 buts à Carpi ! Juve battue à Naples

En match d'ouverture de la sixième journée de la Serie A, l'AS Roma qui a perdu cinq points lors de deux dernières journées a bien réagi face à Carpi. Les hommes de Garcia se sont largement imposés (5/1). Les buts ont été inscrits par Manolas, Pjanic, Gervinho, Salah et Digne. LA Louve est actuellement troisième avec 11 points, mais avec un match en plus.

Le choc de la soirée a opposé au stade San Paolo, le Napoli à la Juventus de Turin. Les locaux se sont imposés (2/1) grâce à un but d'Insigne et un autre d'Higuain. Pour le Vieille Dame, c'est Lemina qui a réduit le score. C'est la troisième défaite de la Juve depuis le début de la saison. Elle reste 13ème avec 5 points au compteur, à dix longueurs de l'Inter de Milan qui compte un match en moins.

L’AS Roma lève déjà les options de trois recrues estivales !

Par le biais d'un communiqué officiel, l'AS Roma a expliqué avoir bouclé de manière définitive trois transferts.
Rudi Garcia a beau être sur un siège éjectable après le revers concédé sur la pelouse du BATE Borisov (3-2, 2e journée de Ligue des Champions), ce mardi, l’AS Roma a décidé de lui mettre à disposition les moyens de redresser la barre. Ainsi, on apprend à la lecture d’un communiqué officiel publié ce jeudi après le conseil d’administration du club que trois joueurs recrutés sous forme de prêts cet été ont été définitivement acquis par les Giallorossi.
« Parmi les opérations les plus significatives réalisée pendant la campagne estivale de recrutement, qui s’est tenue du 1er juillet au 31 août 2015, on note : l’acquisition à titre définitif des droits sportifs des joueurs Edin Dzeko (ex-Manchester City), Mohamed Salah (ex-Chelsea) et Iago Falqué (ex-Genoa). Pour ces joueurs, des accords pour cessions temporaires avaient initialement été souscrits. Ils se sont transformés en transferts définitifs après que les conditions contractuelles prévues ont été vérifiées lors des premiers mois de l’exercice », peut-on ainsi lire.
Autrement dit, Edin Dzeko (29 ans), Mohamed Salah (23 ans) et Iago Falqué (25 ans) appartiennent donc désormais à la formation romaine. Leurs bons débuts de saison (5 buts et 2 passes décisives à eux trois en Serie A) ont donc convaincu les pensionnaires de l’Olimpico. Aucune information n’a en revanche filtré concernant les montants déboursés. Le Daily Mail croit savoir que ces achats représentent un investissement de 40 M€ (plus de 21 M€ pour l’Égyptien, plus de 11 M€ pour le Bosnien et environ 8 M€ pour l’Espagnol). AS Roma : Seydou Keita absent 5 semaines !

Quatrième de Serie A, l’AS Roma a connu un début de championnat plutôt intéressant. Le club entraîné par Rudi Garcia a mené un mercato offensif en enrôlant des éléments tels qu’Edin Dzeko ou encore Mohamed Salah. La Louve s’est aussi appuyée sur des éléments anciens à l’image du légendaire Francesco Totti ou de Seydou Keita. Le joueur de 35 ans a prolongé son contrat d’une année, soit jusqu’en 2016.
Auteur de six matches cette saison, le Malien va être absent pour un petit moment. Touché à la cuisse droite lors de la victoire face à Carpi (5-1, Ndlr), le milieu a passé des examens médicaux ce mercredi. Et les résultats sont tombés. Keita va manquer 5 semaines de compétition a annoncé le club romain sur son site officiel.

Milan AC : année terminée pour Ménez !

Blessé au dos en juin dernier, l’attaquant du PSG Jérémy Ménez (28 ans) n’est pas près de retrouver les pelouses. Le traitement infligé le 20 août dernier s’est en effet avéré inefficace.
Sport Mediaset rapporte donc que l’année 2015 du Français est d’ores et déjà terminée. Déjà opéré deux fois d’une hernie discale puis pour ses douleurs au dos, Ménez va être soumis à de nouveaux traitements qui ne permettront pas de le revoir sur les terrains cette année.

Officiel : Montella nouveau coach de la Samp !

À la recherche d’un entraîneur depuis le licenciement de Walter Zenga, la Sampdoria a trouvé son nouveau coach. En effet, comme l’a déclaré le club de Serie A par le biais d’un communiqué, Vincenzo Montella est désormais le nouvel entraîneur des Blucerchiati. Le technicien italien, passé notamment par la Fiorentina, est lié à la Samp jusqu’en 2018 et sera présenté à la presse ce lundi.
« Le président Massimo Ferrero et la Sampdoria sont heureux d’annoncer que Vincenzo Montella est officiellement le nouvel entraîneur de la Sampdoria. Montella a signé un contrat qui le lui au club jusqu’au 30 Juin 2018. Coupe d'Italie : Naples passe ! La Roma et la Fiorentina éliminées

L'AS Rome continue de peiner. L'équipe dirigée par Rudi Garcia a enchaîné un septième match sans victoire toutes compétitions confondues ce mercredi en étant éliminée à domicile par un club de Serie B (deuxième division), Spezia (0-0, 2-4 t.a.b.). Pjanic et Dzeko ont manqué leurs tirs au but en frappant sur la barre transversale.

La Fiorentina a, elle aussi, quitté la Coupe d'Italie par la petite porte. La formation de Paulo Sousa a été battue à domicile par Carpi (0-1), avant-dernier de la Serie A, sur une réalisation de Di Gaudio (76e). En toute fin de match, les deux équipes ont terminé à dix, Gonzalo Rodriguez ayant vu rouge pour la «Fio» (90e+5) tout comme Mbakogu pour Carpi (90e+5).

Naples s'est montré plus sérieux pour dominer l'Hellas Vérone (3-0). El-Kaddouri (4e), Mertens (12e) et Callejon (75e) ont marqué. Actuellement, la Juventus de Turin affronte le Torino et mène (1/0).

Italie : L'AS Roma pense à José Mourinho

L'Equipe - Décevante en championnat et éliminée en Coupe par une équipe de deuxième division, l'AS Roma cherche à relancer sa dynamique. Et cela pourrait passer par un changement d'entraîneur, Rudi Garcia ne faisant plus l'unanimité à Rome. Si Marcelo Lippi, Luciano Spalletti ou encore Fabio Capello ont été évoqués, les dirigeants du club pensent également à José Mourinho, tout juste démis de ses fonctions à Chelsea.

Un émissaire du club aurait rencontré le Portugais pour tenter de le convaincre. S'il acceptait, il pourrait très vite recroiser la route de ses anciens clubs, à commencer par le Real Madrid, adversaire de la Roma en 8es de finale de la Ligue des Champions.

Serie A-J18 : La Juventus Turin revient très fort

La Juventus Turin s'est installée aujourd'hui provisoirement sur le podium de la Serie A grâce à sa nette victoire face au Hellas Vérone lors de la 18ème journée.

Dans le même temps, l'Inter Milan et la Fiorentina se sont également imposés et préservent ainsi leurs deux premières places.
Dans cette journée, les déceptions ont été du côté de l'AC Milan et de l'AS Rome.

Les milanais ont été battus à domicile par Bologne, alors que l'AS Rome a mené par deux fois (2-0 puis 3-2) sur le terrain du Chievo Vérone avant de finir par partager les points.

Serie A-J24 : Naples et Juve confirment ! Milan rate l'occasion

Le leader de la Serie A continue d'aligner les victoires. Le Napoli a dominé, dimanche, l'équipe de Carpi (1/0) grâce à un but de Gonzalo Higuain. C'est le huitièmes succès de rang pour les hommes de Sarri qui garde leurs deux points d'avance sur la Juventus de Turin qui s'est imposée (2/0) chez Frosinone. C'est la quatorzième victoire de suite pour les champions d'Italie.

De son côté, le Milan AC a perdu l'occasion de se rapprocher davantage du quatuor de tête en concédant le nul (1/1) à San Siro face à Udinese. L'Inter n'a pas fait mieux lors de son déplacement chez l'Hellas Verone (3/3).

Officiel : Graziano Pellè va toucher le jackpot en Chine !

Graziano Pellè a succombé au charme du championnat chinois. L'international italien s'est engagé en faveur du Shandong Luneng.

Décidément, la Chine a bel et bien l’intention de poursuivre son mercato XXL. L’hiver dernier, le championnat chinois avait surpris son monde en multipliant les arrivées contre des sommes très souvent astronomiques. Ainsi, de nombreux talents, plus ou moins jeunes, n’ont pas hésité à mettre leur carrière en péril pour rejoindre l’Asie, tels que Jackson Martinez, Gervinho, Ramires, Ezequiel Lavezzi ou encore Alex Teixeira, pépite brésilienne courtisée de toutes parts.
Et c’est désormais au tour d’un nouveau joueur de faire de même, en la personne de Graziano Pellè. Auteur d’un bel Euro sous les couleurs de la sélection italienne, avec notamment 2 buts inscrits contre la Belgique et l’Espagne, le buteur de Southampton a décidé de rejoindre le Shandong Luneng. « Southampton Football Club peut confirmer que son attaquant Graziano Pellè a rejoint le club chinois Shandong Luneng contre une indemnité de transfert non dévoilée », pouvait-on lire sur le communiqué du club anglais.

Arrivé au sein du club de Premier League à l’été 2014, Pellè aura inscrit 30 réalisations en 81 matches sous la tunique des Saints. Et le moins que l’on puisse dire, c’est que le natif de San Cesario di Lecce s’assure une retraite paisible avec ce départ en Chine. En effet, selon les dernières informations de Sky Sport, l’Italien de 30 ans touchera un salaire de 40 millions d’euros sur 2 ans et demi. De quoi dormir tranquille.

La dernière défaite de l'Espagne en phase de qualification en coupe du monde remonte au 31/03/1993 lors de la défaite contre le Danemark lors de la qualification à la coupe du monde 1994 aux USA

Énorme prestation de l'Espagne qui reste un monstre d'Europe malgré qu'elle n'a pas un excellent palmarès comparé aux Italiens et aux Allemands.

The second tier of Italian football will feature round 3 of the 2018-19 campaign underway on Friday, September 14. With four days of action around the Italian pitch, the round will conclude on Monday, September 17.

As anyone knows who follows football in Italy, Serie B has gone through some changes in this campaign. We usually have 22 clubs competing in the second tier, but we are down to 19 now which is certainly a strange number to see. That obviously gives one club a round-off as we progress through the Serie B campaign. That club will be Perugia for round 3 this weekend.

If you look at the Serie B current table through 2 rounds, you see 4 clubs have only played one match thus far. Livorno had the opening week bye, and Benevento had the week 2 bye, and the match between Cosenza and Verona was PPD during round 2 as well.

Amazingly, Cittadella is 2 - 0 on the young campaign, and they are the only club that will be able to stake that claim. The other 18 clubs have already taken a loss or a draw, including the four clubs with only one match played.

Here is the list of matches set for round 3 in second-tier Serie B.

As anyone who follows Serie A will know, Benevento had a miserable campaign last year, finishing at the bottom of the table after allowing an astounding 84 goals. That was their first and only appearance in top-flight Italian football since re-forming in 2005.

There are certainly a few faces on this Benevento side that some will recognize. Lorenzo Insigne's brother Roberto Insigne joined the club this year on loan from Napoli. In fact, all four of the Insigne brothers play football in Italy, Antonio and Marco being the other two.
Benevento Captain Christian Maggio is certainly a name Italian football fans will recognize. He has been a part of the Italian National Team since 2010, and was close to making the 2014 roster for the World Cup in Brazil. Had it not been for an injury, he might have had a chance to be on the Italian back line, but he has since retired from International play at age 36.
There is plenty of other experience on the Benevento roster, and what a comeback they pulled off in their league opener two weekends ago. Down 3 - 0, Benevento came all the way back to settle for a draw at 3 - 3 vs Lecce in their only outing so far this campaign.

I see value in the Benevento 'Draw no Bet' offer listed at 2.14 at most major sites, and I believe that line will come down as we get closer to the weekend.

I am going to assume that goalkeeper Filippo Perucchini is looking forward to the Ascoli vs Lecce fixture on Saturday. He gets to go up against his old squad Lecce, where he played from 2013 basically until last year, short of a couple of stints on loan here and there. He got the opening day nod for Ascoli.

Lecce has scored 5 goals in their two outings so far, and I mentioned how they gave up their 3 - 0 lead last time out. I see the bookmakers are issuing a mere 1.83 on the over 2 goals in that contest. and that will be a recommended play as well. I am of the faith that a push/voided bet is always better than a losing bet, so I have no issues with a 1 - 1 result there. If no one can find that third goal, there will be no harm and I will gladly take my money back to fight another day. The Over 2 & 2.5 handicap has a rather nice price at 2.15, so that too holds value if you do not like the juice on the straight 2 total.

Brescia and Pescara kick off at 3 p.m CET at Stadio Rigamonti, and the line setters have issued a 1.86 on the 'Both Teams to Score - Yes' Prop. Through two outings, both have scored and both have given up goals, so I am simply hoping they make it three straight. A 1 - 1 score is all I will be asking to take advantage of that action.

Skipping to the late game on Saturday, Foggia will host Palermo at Stadio Pino Zaccheria. I am going to suggest that you look towards that total of 2.5 to go Over, especially with the lovely price of 2.11 on the action. These two will certainly be able to score on each other, and a 2 - 1 result will surely be obtainable, in my opinion. I honestly expect them both to score twice, in fact, so don't be surprised to see a 2 - 2 type of result here.

And you are certainly right sir! Plenty of former Serie A clubs roaming around second tier these days. Hellas Verona, of course, and Palermo the Pinks are two you will certainly have familiarity with from top flight.
