صحيفة «موندو دييورتيفو» الاسبانية : المساكني اكتشاف أمم افريقيا والمقارنة مع ميسي لا تجوز

المردود المتميز للاعب يوسف المساكني مع المنتخب الوطني في نهائيات أمم افريقيا مازال محور اهتمام الصحف العالمية.

صحيفة «موندو ديبورتيفو» المقربة من نادي برشلونة كتبت تحت عنوان «يوسف المساكني، اكتشاف كأس افريقيا» وقالت الصحيفة ان هذا اللاعب جلب الانتباه في الدورة الحالية وركزت على خصوصياته فوق الميدان كالمراوغات وتغييره لنسق المباراة لكنها استدركت وأكدت أنه من المبالغ مقارنته بليونال ميسي رغم ان المساكني لم يتجاوز عمره 21 سنة واهتمام صحيفة في حجم «موندو ديبورتيفو» الكاتالونية يؤكد الصورة المشرقة للاعبنا في الأوساط العالمية.

Msakni: meilleur dribbleur d'Afrique

Youssef Msakni, le milieu de terrain de l'Espérance de Tunis et révélation de la Coupe d'Afrique des nations, est le joueur ayant réalisé et réussi le plus de dribbles à l'occasion de cette CAN 2012 avec 21 dribbles réussis en seulement 4 matches. Egalement buteur à 2 reprises lors de cette compétition, Youssef Msakni a tapé dans l'œil des recruteurs du LOSC mais également du Paris Saint-Germain qui serait prêt à offrir 4 millions d'euros pour faire venir la nouvelle star de 21 ans en France.

أي البطولات أفضل له..وأي الفرق تناسبه؟

ليس من الصعب في كل يوم أن تقرأ خبرا عن يوسف المساكني فما إن تتجوّل في المواقع الخاصة بانتقالات اللاعبين في العالم إلا وتجد اسم المساكني مطروحا بشدّة. انطلاقا من فرنسا إلى ألمانيا مرورا بأنقلترا فإن المساكني الصغير بات معروفا أكثر من أي وقت مضى وهدفه ضد المنتخب المغربي ساعده في أن يكون نجم النجوم وهو أمر لا يمكن لأحد اليوم إنكاره كما أن اختياره أفضل مراوغ في نهائيات كأس إفريقيا ساعد في التعريف به.
وبين الحقيقة والإشاعة يكمن الإشكال الحقيقي فإسم المساكني مطروح في أكثر من جهة ولا يمرّ يوم إلا وتحدّث فريق جديد عن اهتمامه بهذا اللاعب ولكن الحقيقة الثابتة الوحيدة أن الترجي الذي لم يعلن بعد عن نيته في التفويت في اللاعب من عدمها لم يتخذ قرارا نهائيّا بهذا الخصوص خاصة وأن الفريق يؤكد من يوم إلى اخر أنه لا يعتزم التفويت في اللاعب خاصة بعد أن خسر الدراجي.
ولا يبدو من السهل على الترجي التفويت في لاعبه الأهمّ وأحد الأوراق الهامة التي يعوّل عليها الفريق من أجل الحصول على رابطة الأبطال الإفريقية من جديد. ويوسف المساكني ليس لاعبا عاديّا في الوقت الراهن ولا رقما يمكن استبداله بلاعب اخر فالفارق بينه وبين بقيّة اللاعبين واضح وجليّ.
قبل أيام تحدثت المواقع عن اهتمام بوردو باللاعب التونسي ثم انضاف إليها باير ليفركوزن وهو أحد أفضل فرق أوروبا وألمانيا وتأهل إلى ثمن نهائي رابطة الأبطال الأوروبية هذا الموسم وقبلهما تحدثت المواقع عن ليل الفرنسي وباري سان جرمان وتحدّث موقع السكاي عن أرسنال.
وإن صحّ أن أرسنال يريد التعاقد مع النجم التونسي فإن هذا الفريق سيكون بلا شك مضطرّا إلى إعارته إلى فريق اخر في فرنسا مثلا أو ألمانيا بآعتبار أن قوانين الكرة في أنقلترا تختلف تماما ولا يمكن للمساكني الحصول على رخصة شغل لأنه لم يشارك في 75 بالمائة من مقابلات المنتخب الوطني خلال السنة الأخيرة ذلك أنه في سنة 2011 لم يشارك في أية مقابلة باعتبار أن مقابلتي كاتالونيا والباسك غير مدرجتين ضمن مقابلات الفيفا وبالتالي فإنه لن يمرّ مباشرة الى أنقلترا بل إنه مطالب بالمرور عبر بطولة أخرى قبل اللعب لأرسنال. وهذا الفريق يتعامل مع فرق فرنسية بالجملة فهو يعيرها العناصر الشابة التي يستعصى عليها الحصول على رخصة الشغل على غرار لوريون أو لوهافر.
استراتيجية اللاعب واستراتجية الفريق
ومن الواضح أن استراتجية اللاعب خاطئة إلى حدّ الان فهو يتعامل مع أكثر من وكيل وهنالك أكثر من شخص يتحدث باسمه في أوروبا دون أن يكون هنالك اتفاق بينه وبين اللاعب ومثلا فإن أكثر من وكيل تونسي تحدث إلى ليل الفرنسي عن قدرات المساكني وهذا طبعا لن يخدمه في شيء فاللاعب بحاجة إلى من يؤطره ووالده، وإن لا نشكّ في أنه يبحث عن مصلحة ابنه ، غير قادر على تحديد أفضل العروض وأفضل الطرق التي تقود اللاعب إلى الاختيار الأفضل.
فاللعب في أوروبا كما قال الباش طبجي ليس أمرا صعبا ويمكن لأكثر من اللاعب التعاقد مع فريق أوروبي ولكن المهمّ كيف يمكن له أن يفرض نفسه في الفريق الذي سيختاره وهنا كان المشكل الأساسي لكل اللاعبين التونسيين فكم من نجم حقيقي للكرة التونسية الان في سماء أوروبا؟ لاعب أو اثنان وهو ما لا يمكن مقارنته بمنتخبات أقل قيمة من المنتخب التونسي. فالمساكني لا يمثّل نفسه خلال هذه المرحلة بل يمثل الكرة التونسيّة ككل وهو من العناصر التي يمكنها أن تفرض وجودها في أوروبا إن عرف كيف يختار الفريق وكيف يتعامل مع شروط الاحتراف.
أمّا الترجي الرياضي فعليه منذ الان أن يحسم قراره بصورة رسميّة فإن كان ينوي التفويت في اللاعب فعليه أن يعلن ذلك حتى لا يحصل للمساكني ما حصل للشرميطي قبل فوات الأوان حيث ظلت وضعيته معلقة ولم يتعاقد رسميّا مع هرتا برلين إلا قبل أيام قليلة من غلق سوق الانتقالات ولم يشارك فريقه في التحضيرات مما أثر على حضوره البدني بشكل خاص.
وإن كان الترجي الرياضي سيتريث قبل التفويت في المساكني فإن عليه أيضا أن يعلم اللاعب حتى لا يفقد تركيزه فالترجي سيكون المستفيد الوحيد في كل الحالات من حسم الموقف ويبدو أن مشكل الدراجي مازال يلقي بطلاله على أجواء الفريق ككل مما يعوق التحدّث في هذا الموضوع.
والإشكاليات عديدة بخصوص هذا الملف أهمها هل حان الوقت لخروج المساكني إلى البطولات الأوروبية؟ وماهي أفضل البطولات التي تساعده ويمكنه أن ينجح فيها؟ وثالثا هل أن الفرق التي تحدث الجميع عنها يمكن أن تكون بوابة مثاليّة للاعب خلال المغامرة القادمة؟
وللحديث عن مستقبل المساكني ليس أفضل من [mot à éviter]ّر بيّة الذي عرف النجاح خلال تجربته الألمانية وفتح الباب أمام اللاعبين التونسيين وراضي الجعايدي الذي فرض نفسه في أنقلترا بصورة واضحة ويلعب للموسم السابع على التوالي في أفضل بطولات العالم إلى جانب محمد الباش طبجي بما أنه من العناصر التونسية القليلة التي لعبت لباري سان جرمان الفرنسي.

Youssef M'sakni, l'individualiste

Nul ne peut contester les qualités de l'international «sang et or» Youssef M'sakni. Il a été l'un des joueurs les plus en vue à la dernière CAN 2012 qui s'est déroulée au Gabon et en Guinée équatoriale. Il a même été plébiscité par tous, coéquipiers et observateurs. Mais nous avons tout de même remarqué ces derniers temps, au cours des trois matches de la Ligue 1 avec l'Espérance, face à l'ESZarzis, l'ESBéni Khalled, au CSSfaxien et au MAS en supercoupe, cette fâcheuse tendance à porter trop le ballon, à user et abuser du jeu individuel. Cela finit par énerver ses coéquipiers, surtout lorsqu'il perd le ballon et qu'il ne fait aucun effort pour reculer et soutenir sa défense.
Youssef M'sakni a remis cela avant-hier face au Pérou avec à l'arrivée une prestation très peu en rapport avec son statut.
Nous pouvons comprendre que le joueur soit fatigué ou las, mais il ne lui faut surtout pas tomber dans la facilité.
Decastel et Sami Trabelsi doivent absolument discipliner son jeu et ne pas le laisser se disperser sur un terrain.
Sa carrière ne fait que commencer ! Un peu d'humilité s'il vous plaît !

باير ليفركوزن يريد يوسف المساكني.. ويفاوض الترجي قريبا

بعد الاندية الفرنسية التي عبّرت عن رغبتها في انتداب اللاعب الدولي للترجي الرياضي يوسف المساكني وهي باريس سان جرمان وليل وبوردو، دخل فريق الماني شهير على الخط ،جاعلا المنافسة على اشدها من اجل الظفر بهذا المهاجم المتالق الذي ارتفعت اسهمه الى اعلى الدرجات بعد ابداعاته وروائعه في النهائيات الاخيرة لكأس افريقيا للأمم وخاصة ضد المنتخب المغربي.

الفريق الالماني الذي دخل بدوره حلبة المنافسة هو باير ليفركوزن. وقد بادر في مرحلة اولى بمعاينة يوسف المساكني في السوبر الافريقي ضد المغرب الفاسي ،ثم أوفد مبعوثا الى ملعب المنزه لنفس الغرض في اللقاء الودي بين منتخبنا الوطني ونظيره البيروفي.

وفي ضوء التقرير الفني الذي رفعه هذا المبعوث أبدى نادي باير ليفركوزن رغبة جدية في التعاقد مع المساكني.

وتمهيدا لإبرام الصفقة في مطلع شهر جويلية القادم ،قرر هذا الفريق الالماني إيفاد مبعوث الى تونس (على الارجح في الاسبوع الذي نتأهب لاستقباله) خصيصا للتفاوض مع الهيئة المديرة للترجي الرياضي بشأن هذا الانتداب.

تأكيدا لما ذكرته «الصّباح» في عدد الثلاثاء 20 مارس الجاري فإن نادي باريس سان جرمان الفرنسي هو الأقرب لانتداب يوسف المساكني الذي تلقى عدة عروض. الخبر أكدته قناة الجزيرة وموقع «ماكسي فوت» الفرنسي حيث كتب الصحفي «رومان ريغو» أن مالك الفريق الفرنسي وهو قطري الجنسية يعتزم تعزيز صفوف الـ»بي.آس.جي» بلاعبين عرب...

على غرار الدولي المغربي لنادي مونبيلي يونس بن هندة ويوسف المساكني الذي قال في شأنه أنه يضطلع بمركز جناح أيمن وعمره 21 سنة وأن أندية بوردو وأرسنال وأتلتيكو مدريد وأولمبيك مرسيليا وليل تريده أيضا.

من ناحية أخرى فإن يوسف المساكني قد يتحول إلى غرناطة الإسبانية بعد العودة من غمبيا نزولا عند رغبة الفريق الأندلسي بما أن الإتفاق حصل بين الطرفين منذ مدة على هذه الزيارة التي ستكون خاطفة.

علما وأن رئيس فريق غرناطة هو نفسه رئيس أودينيزي الإيطالي !!

On espère le meilleur choix pour une aventure professionnelle réussie de notre Msekni ! (Photo CHALA)

Youssef Msekni est courtisé par pas pal de clubs européens - français, anglais, allemands, espagnols ... . Le jouer a une préférence pour la Liga espagnole, comme il nous l'a confié dans une interview avec E-S-Tunis.com, mais les offres les plus insistantes proviennent de l'Arsenal et surtout du Paris Saint Germain.

Arsene Wenger est, selon talkSPORT, sous le charme du petit lutin Sang et Or et lui et son Arsenal font de Msekni l'une de leurs pistes sérieuses.

Le PSG a passé à l'action et, selon la même source, a présenté une offre officielle au Bureau Directeur de l'Espérance Sportive de Tunis. Hamdi Medded, ajoute talkSPORT, est en train d'étudier l'offre française.

L'offre du club de la Ligue I française poussera-t-elle les Gunners a présenter une offre plus conséquente ? Attendons voir !

يوسف المساكني وعروض الاحتراف
والده يخشى سيناريو الدراجي...و«فيتو» الهيئة محيّر!!

تتالى الأيام ومعها يبدو يوسف المساكني أقرب من أي وقت مضى إلى مغادرة الترجي الرياضي حالما يفتح الميركاتو الصيفي أبوابه في ظل العروض التي ما فتئت تتهاطل على أفضل لاعب محلي ونجم المنتخب الوطني في النهائيات الإفريقية الأخيرة...
الإغراءات والعروض باتت حديث الساعة سيما وأن اللاعب برز بشكل لافت وأدار الرقاب صوبه بفضل ما تقدمه قدماه من إمتاع كروي جعله هدفا لعدة أندية أوروبية...
ويروّج في الأوساط الترجية أن لدى هيئة حمدي المدب ما لايقل عن ثلاثة عروض رسمية أهمها من أولمبيك مرسيليا وكوبان الروسي علاوة عن ليل الفرنسي...
وقدم مرسيليا مبلغا محترما ناهز الستة مليارات في حين عرض نادي ليل 4 مليون دينار وأما دينامو كياف الأوكراني وكوبان الروسي فقد أعلنا عن رغبتهما في ضمّ المساكني الصّغير مقابل 3,5مليون أورو في حين لم يرتق عرضي غرناطة وباريس سان جرمان إلى مستوى الرسميات ليبقيا مجرد أحاديث إعلامية...
هيئة الترجي الرياضي من جهتها نفت وجود أي عرض في خصوص نجمها الصغير عبر متحدثها الرسمي رياض بالنور مؤكدة أن ذلك لا يعدو أن يكون سوى فرقعة إعلامية سببها الأداء المتميز للاعبها ومحاولة تعكير الأجواء في الفريق...
أما منذر المساكني والد اللاعب فقد أكد لنا في اتصال هاتفي أن العروض موجودة فعلا ولكن لا يمكن أن يعلّق عليها في الوقت الراهن طالما أن الوثائق هي أقوى الأدلة وهو ما لا يملكه...ويضيف المنذر أن مصير بقاء ابنه في الترجي يبقى رهين موقف هيئة المدب بما أن يوسف ما زال مرتبطا مع الأحمر والأصفر إلى جوان 2013.
ويمكن التأكيد أن المنذر خبر جيدا مربط الفرس سيما وأن ما مرّ به أسامة الدراجي منذ مدة جعله يكبح جماح رغبته في رؤية ابنه يغادر الفريق ولو إلى نهاية الموسم رغم أنه ينشد ذلك...
وفي المحصلة فإن مسؤولي باب سويقة غير مستعدين للتفريط في يوسف مهما كانت العروض خاصة وأنهم يؤمنون بقدرة الفريق على إعادة سيناريو 2011 بالحصول مجددا على رابطة الأبطال ومحو خيبة الكأس العالمية وهو ما ينبؤ بفصل جديد من ليّ الذراع بين الترجي من جهة ويوسف المساكني من جهة أخرى في ظل السياسة التي انتهجها حمدي المدب منذ قدومه للفريق ورفضه التفويت في اللاعبين.
وقد يكون يوسف حلقة جديدة لمسلسل ألفه الجميع وعرف نفس النهاية فهل يقدر يوسف ووالده عن كسر القاعدة والنجاح فيما فشل فيه السابقون؟؟

• Le prodige «sang et or» attend l'aval de son président pour pouvoir répondre à l'invitation du club parisien.

Nous avons l'habitude de voir les unes des journaux s'enflammer à la moindre rumeur faisant allusion à un éventuel départ d'un joueur-vedette. Youssef Msakni alimente depuis le mois de décembre dernier l'actualité. Les sites web spécialisés en sport, qui ont fleuri ces dernières années, ont mis également la main à la pâte. Du coup, le prodige «sang et or» est annoncé tous les jours, voire toutes les heures, un peu partout en Europe. Deux clubs français ont manifesté clairement leur intérêt pour le cadet des Msakni, Lille et le PSG. La piste parisienne nous a été confirmée par le président de l'Espérance qui a bien voulu nous apporter du concret quant aux tractations dont est sujet son prodige : «Je tiens à vous signaler que, jusqu'à ce jour, je n'ai reçu aucune offre officielle. Tout comme vous, j'entends parler des clubs qui s'intéressent à Youssef Msakni. J'ai promis à Youssef de le laisser partir. Ma condition est toujours la même : une offre conséquente aussi bien pour le joueur que pour l'EST. A ce jour, un agent m'a parlé d'une offre émanant d'un club qatari. Il m'a dit qu'il dispose d'une proposition écrite. Je n'ai encore rien en main», nous a confié M. Hamdi Meddeb.
Le président de l'Espérance s'est gracieusement soumis au pénible exercice des questions-réponses. Mais non sans réserve : «Je ne peux pas vous divulguer le montant de l'offre, ni même le plafond que nous avons fixé pour libérer le joueur. Toutefois, je vous confirme la piste du PSG. Youssef Msakni est venu me voir pour me demander de prendre congé pendant trois jours afin de répondre à une invitation que lui a adressée le PSG. Mais pour le moment, je ne peux répondre favorablement à sa demande vu les engagements de l'équipe», nous a également fait savoir le président de l'EST.

N'Djeng : la piste Sion

Pour Hamdi Meddeb, il n'y a pas que le dossier de Youssef Msakni qu'il a sur la table. Son avant-centre camerounais est aussi sujet aux convoitises. D'ailleurs, Yannick N'Djeng n'a pas été bien concentré sur son sujet jeudi face à l'ASM. En témoignent ses ratages à répétition devant la cage de Zied Jebali. Il est bon de rappeler que Yannick N'Djeng dispose d'une clause libératoire de son contrat, lui permettant de partir à partir du 1er juillet prochain. A son sujet, Hamdi Meddeb nous dira : «Je trouve que l'attitude des responsables du FC Sion n'est pas professionnelle. Au lieu de procéder d'une manière correcte en s'adressant aux responsables de l'Espérance, ils utilisent des manières détournées. N'Djeng m'a fait savoir que les responsables du FC Sion le harcèlent au téléphone. D'ailleurs, je compte m'entretenir avec lui pour parler de son avenir avec l'EST. Nous comptons également effectuer des recrutements lors du prochain mercato afin de renforcer l'équipe en prévision de la Ligue des champions. Nous sommes en train de pister des joueurs étrangers. Vous en saurez davantage en temps opportun», nous a promis Hamdi Meddeb.
Le président de l'EST a plus d'un dossier à gérer. Les tentations financières nuisent à la concentration des joueurs. A eux de faire preuve de professionnalisme!

دخل صانع الألعاب الدولي التونسي يوسف المساكني دائرة اهتمام باريس سان جيرمان الفرنسي الطامح لتعزيز صفوفه خلال الموسم المقبل، وذكرت صحيفة إيطالية شهيرة اليوم أن النادي الباريسي يريد ضم المساكني في ظل صعوبة التعاقد مع المغربي يونس بلهندة لاعب نادي مونبلييه.

وبحسب صحيفة "غازيتا ديلو سبورت" الإيطالية فإن المدرب الإيطالي لسان جيرمان كارلو أنشيلوتي يتطلع لضم المساكني لاعب الترجي التونسي خلال الموسم المقبل، بعد تيقنه من صعوبة ضم بلهندة، بالإضافة لرغبة المساكني بخوض تجربة الاحتراف في أوروبا.

وقالت الصحيفة: "إن أنشيلوتي يعتقد أن المساكني سيشكّل إضافة جيدة للفريق، والتعاقد معه سيكون أسهل من بلهندة أو مواطنه مروان الشماخ لاعب آرسنال الإنكليزي الذي ترغب أندية أخرى بضمه خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية القادمة".

وكانت تقارير تونسية تحدثت مؤخراً عن تلقي المساكني المُلقب بـ"ميسي تونس"، لعرضاً مغرياً من باريس سان جيرمان، وقالت صحيفة "الصباح": إن لاعب الترجي أصبح قريباً من الالتحاق بالنادي الفرنسي مقابل مليون يورو، وهو مبلغ يزيد عن عرض آخر تلقاه من نادي غرناطة الإسباني.

ويرتبط المساكني البالغ من العمر 21 عاماً بعقد يمتد مع الترجي حتى عام 2013، وكان قد أكد أكثر من مرة أنه يثق بقدرة رئيس ناديه حمدي المؤدب في اختيار النادي الأنسب له خلال الفترة القادمة، مع تشديده على رغبته بخوض تجربة الاحتراف في الملاعب الأوروبية.

وبرز المساكني بشكل لافت في بطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية الأخيرة التي جرت في غينيا الاستوائية والغابون وساهم بقيادة "نسور قرطاج" لبلوغ الدور ربع النهائي للبطولة قبل أن يخرج على يد منتخب غانا.

Le PSG serait toujours en train de travailler sur l'arrivée prochaine du jeune milieu offensif tunisien, Youssef Mskani (21 ans). Mais la concurrence est rude sur ce dossier, notamment du côté d'Arsenal qui convoiterait également le joueur de l'Espérance Tunis.

Le milieu offensif de l'Espérance de Tunis, surnommé le « Lionel Messi tunisien est annoncé aux quatre coins de l'Europe (Lille, Bordeaux, OM, Monaco, Arsenal Bayer Leverkusen) depuis ses exploits lors de la dernière CAN 2012 (2 buts en 4 rencontres avec la Tunisie). Le PSG est également sur les rangs comme l'avait confirmé il y a quelques temps le président de l'EST : « Je vous confirme la piste du PSG. Youssef Msakni est venu me voir pour me demander de prendre congé pendant trois jours afin de répondre à une invitation que lui a adressée le PSG. Mais pour le moment, je ne peux répondre favorablement à sa demande vu les engagements de l'équipe », a-t-il indiqué dans la presse locale.

« Je tiens à vous signaler que, jusqu'à ce jour, je n'ai reçu aucune offre officielle. (…) J'ai promis à Youssef de le laisser partir. Ma condition est toujours la même : une offre conséquente aussi bien pour le joueur que pour l'EST », a-t-il ajouté alors que le joueur est sous contrat jusqu'en juin 2013 avec son club.

Arsène Wenger garde aussi un oeil intéressé sur Msakni selon Talksport. Mais le PSG pourrait remporter l'affaire pour 7 millions d'euros annonce le médias anglais qui précise également que les deux clubs seraient en concurrence pour recruter le milieu de terrain de Sunderland, Stéphane Sessegnon.

Youssef Msakni claims to have been made aware of Paris St Germain's interest in his services, but has played down reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.

The Tunisia international is currently on the books of Esperance in his homeland, but is drawing plenty of admiring glances from Europe ahead of the summer transfer window.

Having caught the eye domestically and internationally this season, it is expected to be only a matter of time before he heads for pastures new.

PSG are understood to be leading the chase, with initial contact with Esperance having already been made.

Msakni claims Lille are also in the running, but insists he is refusing to let the mounting transfer talk become a distraction.

Sunderland striker may be London-bound, Turin club say Argentine could be key signing

ARSENAL are prepared for a bidding war for Sunderland's Stephane Sessegnon according to the Mirror. Martin O'Neill admitted the Wearsiders may struggle to keep him because his family have not settled in the North East. Sunderland paid Paris Saint Germain £6 million for Sessegnon but his value has rocketed to around £10 million after a series of brilliant performances this year.

Talksport reports that Turin giants Juventus are keen on bringing Carlos Tevez to the city in a bid to re-establish themselves as one of Europe's major footballing powers. They are currently fighting for the Serie A title, but are two points behind leaders AC Milan. Tevez is preferred to the club's other targets, which include his Man City team-mate Eden Dzeko and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

The future of Arsenal striker Carlos Vela will be decided this summer, according Talksport. Vela, 23, has bagged seven goals and seven assists in La Liga since joining the Basque side Real Sociedad on loan at the beginning of the season. The skilled forward has made 62 senior appearances for Arsenal, but it is unclear whether or not he features in Arsene Wenger's long-term plans.

There are clouds on the horizon as far as Arsenal's hopes of signing Youssef Msakni go – and they're nothing to do with Marouane Chamakh's shisha pipe. Rather it's Paris Saint Germain and their determination to beat the Gunners to the hand of the man they call 'the Tunisian Lionel Messi'.

Regular readers of Transfer Talk may recall that back in February we revealed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was keeping tabs on Msakni after his rich vein of form for Esperance Tunis. But now, according to Talksport, PSG are lining up a summer bid for the 21-year-old attacking midfielder.

Apparently the French outfit were impressed by what they saw of Msakni in the African Cup of Nations and will "offer upwards of £5m" for the youngster. Lille are also said to be interested but Talksport speculate it will come down to a straight shoot-out between PSG and Arsenal.

Internacional striker Leandro Damiao has upped the ante among his many suitors by giving a candid interview to Italian rag Gazzetta dello Sport. In recent months the 22-year-old Brazilian frontman has been linked to more clubs than George Galloway's had wives but it appears he's narrowing down his options.

"There will come a day when I will play in Europe," Damiao told Gazzetta dello Sport. "With my style and strength, I think I could adapt to any major league in Europe. But it seems to me that strikers are most appreciated in Italy and England."

Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United are all rumoured to be monitoring the strapping six footer – capped five times by his country – while AC Milan and Juventus are known to have made enquiries about Damiao. The latter reportedly made an offer earlier in the season of £18m only to be knocked back by the South American club.

If the Metro has its facts straight, then Chelsea are in the throes of putting together a package to ensure Salomon Kalou stays at the Bridge. Arsenal and AC Milan have both been mentioned as possible destinations for the 26-year-old striker but the Metro says Kalou is in line for "a bumper pay rise this summer" if he pledges his troth to Chelsea.

The Ivory Coast international, who scored the winner against Benfica in last week's Champions League quarter-final first leg, is quoted as saying: "I am not thinking about a transfer yet. At the end of the season everything will be clear in everyone's head."

Finally the Daily Mail reports that Arsene Wenger has ordered his man in France, chief scout Gilles Grimandi, to "compile a dossier" on Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud. The 25-year-old's goals this season have propelled the Mediterranean outfit to the top of the French first division and aroused interest in a host of clubs as well as the Gunners.

Newcastle, Bayern Munich and Juventus have apparently made enquiries and all have received the same message: Giroud will only be sold for "at least £50 million".

Arsenal will face competition from Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign Youssef Msakni.

The Gunners are thought to be keeping tabs on the Tunisian but now PSG are lining up a summer bid for the 21-year-old attacking midfielder, according to talkSPORT.

Speaking on speculation of a move to the Emirates, Msakni said: "Arsenal? That would be a fantastic move for me. However, I am not aware of their interest.

"I am ready to make the next step. Going abroad will improve me and I want to fulfil my potential."

Ligue 1 champions Lille are also thought to be interested in Msakni, who currently plays for Esperance Tunis.

Victime d’une élongation au cours de la séance d’entraînement d’hier samedi 26 mai, et malgré les efforts du staff médical pour le récupérer, Youssef Msakni sera indisponible pour le match de ce dimanche 27 mai entre l’Espérance et le Club Athlétique Bizertin.
