CL 2012 : Espérance - Dynamos en huitièmes

Comme prévu, le Dynamos du Zimbabwé sera l'adversaire des Sang et Or en huitièmes de finale de la CAF Champions League 2012. Les Glamour Boys ont battu Liga Muçulmana aujourd'hui à Harare sur le score étriqué de 1-0. La manche aller s'est soldé par un nul (2-2).

L'Espérance accueillera son adversaire le 27, 28 ou 29 avril 2012 à Radès, Tunis. La manche retour se jouera à au stade Rufaro, Mbare, Harare le 11, 12 ou 13 mai 2012.

Les Dynamos marquent le but qu'il fallait

Les Dynamos d'Harare ont franchi le cap des seizièmes de finale de la Ligue des champions Orange plus difficilement que prévu. Après leur match nul à Maputo (2-2), le retour au Rufario stadium face à la Liga Muçulmana paraissait largement à la portée d'une équipe zimbabwéenne nantie d'une grosse expérience continentale. Pourtant les locaux n'ont dû qu'à un seul but de valider leur ticket pour la suite de la compétition.

Le but a été inscrit par l'avant de pointe de l'équipe, Takesure Chinyama, après 13 minutes de jeu après un excellent service de Roderick Mutuma. Le jeu par la suite s'est équilibré, sur un rythme relativement soutenu. Dans le camp les milieux Luiz Vaz et Carlos Chimomole ont tenté de longues ouvertures pour leurs attaquants sans mettre en danger la défense des Dynamos.

En seconde période, il y a eu, de part et d'autre, plusieurs changements. Les Zimbabwéens ont surtout cherché à défendre leur but, celui de la qualification. Ils auraient toutefois pu augmenter leur avance à la 67e minute mais le but de Denver Mukamba fut annulé pour hors-jeu.

Les Dynamos auront maintenant un adversaire d'une toute envergure en huitième de finale puisqu'il s'agit ni plus ni moins que le champion en titre, l'Espérance de Tunis, avec première manche en Tunisie.

« Mes joueurs ont livré un bon match mais j'attendais mieux de mes attaquants. Il y avait quelques espaces à prendre. Ils ne les ont pas trouvés. Les Zimbabwéens ont défendu. Nous nous avons attaqué. Peut-être manquons-nous encore d'expérience à ce niveau, ce qui n'était pas le cas de notre adversaire. Sur les deux matches, il n'y a qu'un match de différence ».

Big guns march on as Raja, AS Vita crash out

Defending champions Esperance leads the pack of big guns to have sealed their place at the next round of the 2012 Orange CAF Champions League. Egyptian giants Al-Ahly and Zamalek are also through to the 1/8th round of the premier continental club championship just as Etoile du Sahel, Congolese side TP Mazembe, Al Hilal and Al Merrikh both from Sudan as well as Cameroonian giants, Coton Sport.

The major casualties are former winners' Raja Athletic Club of Morocco and AS Vita Club of DR Congo, whose hopes were dashed by Ghanaian newcomers Berekum Chelsea and ASO Chlef of Algeria respectively. Other notable faces on the casualty list are Africa Sports of Cote d'Ivoire and Algerian side, JSM Bejaia.

For Esperance, they remained on course to defend their title after coming from behind to beat Gambian champions, Brikama United in Rades on Friday. Goals from Wajdi Bouazzi, Youssef Msakni and Karim Aouadhi proved enough for the 'Blood and Gold' after Modo Lamin Sawo had shot the visitors into the lead on 25 minutes. Esperance advanced 4-2 on aggregate.

In the Mediterranean city of Sousse, Etoile du Sahel killed off the hopes yet again of Rwandan champions APR with a 3-2 win to advance by the same margin on aggregate. Lasaad Jaziri scored a brace whilst Hamed Namouchi netted the other goal whilst Dan Wagaluka and Faty Papy were on target for the Rwandan Army team.

The two halves of the Sudanese city, Omdurman, were kept alive during the weekend with archrivals Al-Hilal and Al-Merrikh in action. On Friday, Hilal thrashed DFC 8e Arrondisement of Central African Republic 5-1 with a brace each from Mudathir Eltaib 'Careca' and Edward Sadomba, with Saif Eldin Masawi completing the goal harvest. The 'Blue Waves' marched on 8-1 on aggregate.

Merrikh also registered a 3-0 win over Platinum FC of Zimbabwe to progress 5-2 on aggregate. Nigeria-import Kelechi Osunwa scored twice whilst Zambia-import scored the other goal from the spot.

Ivorian debutants AFAD recorded a 3-0 win over JSM Bejaia at the Stade Robert Champroux in Abidjan on Saturday. Koaukou Amoro scored once in each half whilst Cheik Ahmed Moukoro fired the other to complete a double over their guests and qualify on 5-1 on aggregate.

In Harare, Takesure Chinyama's 18th minute guided Dynamos to a lone goal victory over Liga Muculmana of Mozambique. The 1998 losing finalists advanced 3-2 on aggregate.

Veteran Jacques Haman scored the only goal in Garoua as Coton Sport of Cameroon overpowered Dolphins of Nigeria to win on the away goal rule after a 2-2 tie.

Elsewhere, Sunshine Stars ensured Nigeria was represented at the next round with a 3-0 thrashing of Recreativo do Libolo of Angola and qualify on the away goal rule after a 4-4 tie.

Midfielder Tresor Mputu Mabi scored a hat-trick, two goals from Given Singuluma and the other from Rainford Kalaba powered Mazembe to a 5-0 win over Power Dynamos of Zambia. The four-time winners went through 7-1 on aggregate.

The other representative from DR Congo, AS Vita crashed out after losing 2-3 to ASO Chlef in Kinshasa. The result marked the only win away from home during the weekend matches. The Algerians led 2-0 at half time and held on to victory to advance 3-2 on aggregate.

A late strike by Amr Zaki proved costly for Africa Sports despite managing a 2-1 win over Zamalek. The Cairo giants advanced on the away goal as the tie ended 2-2.

Zamalek's archrivals Al-Ahly, made mince meat of Ethiopian Coffee at the Cairo International Stadium. Playmaker Mohamed Aboutreika scored twice in the second half after Fabio Junior had scored the opener on seven minutes.

It was a bitter-sweet feeling for Moroccan football as Raja Athletic Club crashed out, whilst MAS Fez progressed. Raja Athletic Club beat Ghanaian champions Berekum Chelsea 3-0 in Casablanca but it was little enough to cancel out the 0-5 loss in the first leg. Mohamed Oulhaj, Hassan Tair and Yassine Salhi scored in the second half for the former winners who bid farewell 5-3 on aggregate.

MAS Fez, holders of the Orange CAF Confederation Cup also beat Horoya of Guinea 3-0 thanks to a brace from Hamza Abourazzak and the other from Abdelhadi Halhoul. MAS Fez progressed 4-1 on aggregate.

The matches involving Stade Malien (Mali) – Tonnerre (Benin) and Djoliba AC (Mali) and URA (Uganda) has been rescheduled due to the civil unrest in Mali.

Our aim is to reach the finals - Takesure Chinyama

Dynamos FC skipper Takesure Chinyama, told Cafonline.com that the team is focused on reaching the finals of the Orange CAF Champions League this year. The Zimbabwean club side, Dynamos beat visiting Mozambican side Liga Muculmana de Maputo 1-0 to go through to the next round of the competition and Chinyama was the scorer of that solitary goal.

Chinyama's goal early in the first half ensured that "The Glamour Boys" are on course for that target of making the finals for the first time since 1998. Chiyama went on to say "Our aim was to get as many goals as possible without conceding. When we played in Maputo it was an eye opener to find that Liga Muculmana was a strong team which played good football and was a threat to our campaign if not taken seriously. I was fortunate to score the only goal and l am happy for the team to be progressing in this competition."

The Dynamos forward said that the team's focus is on staying in the competition till the end and so every team they play they will play along the way is a threat to their target. "We are eager to do well and will remain focused as we turn our attention to an even tougher encounter against the competition's titleholders (Esperance of Tunisia) who are our next opponents.

We are going to use our local league games to prepare for the continental matches, we will not relax because we want achieve our goal. We should have scored more goals today but we did not use every opportunity created hopefully we can do that for our next games as we play and get better as a team."

CP - Decastel : Jouer pour gagner !

L'entraîneur de l'équipe professionnelle a entamé son point de presse à la veille du derby de la capitale en disant «je sais que le derby est le match que tout le monde attend. On s'est bien entraîné avec la récupération de Sameh Derbali, Chemmam et Aymen Ben Amor alors que l'on ne pourrait pas compter sur Iheb Msakni suspendu pour ce match. Quant à Harrison Afful, il a ressenti quelques petites douleurs après le match de Champions League. On attendra la dernière séance de cet après-midi pour nous fixer définitivement.»

Répondant à une question sur Yannick Ndjeng, le coach «Sang et Or» a déclaré «j'ai discuté avec lui pour le remettre en confiance. Yannick constitue notre force de pénétration, un atout offensif de première qualité mais il doute un peu à l'heure actuelle et je lui ai fait comprendre qu'il ne doit pas être obsédé par le but mais qu'il pourrait apporter quelque chose même en adressant une ou deux passes décisives.»

A une autre question sur la saturation mentale et la succession des stages bloqués, Michel Decastel a affirmé «on rentre en stage bloqué à partir d'aujourd'hui midi mais parfois, il est important de se réunir ensemble deux jours avant le match pour mettre davantage de pression sur les joueurs comme on l'a fait pour le match de Champions League. Il faut parfois se relâcher pour mieux aborder les rencontres futures.»

Sur ses intentions pour cette rencontre, le coach espérantiste a dit «on va jouer pour gagner et remporter notre dixième victoire consécutive.» Relativement à Iheb Msakni, il a précisé «Iheb Msakni a un rendement aléatoire ne jouant à son véritable niveau que contre l'ESZ puis contre le CSS. Physiquement, il manque encore de tonus alors qu'il a beaucoup de qualités techniques. Son rendement actuel n'est pas à la hauteur de ses moyens, lui qui sait tout faire avec un ballon. Il faudrait qu'il se donne encore plus aux entraînements dans la mesure où il n'a pas encore cette mentalité de travailler beaucoup pour pouvoir exprimer toutes ses qualités, mais bien sûr qu'il va nous manquer.»

Esperance on Dynamos radar

As predicted last week, Dynamos will play defending African champions Esperance in the second round of the Caf Champions League after both teams progressed from the first round over the weekend.
Dynamos beat Liga Muçulmana of Mozambique 3-2 on aggregate after the two teams drew 2-2 in the first leg in Maputo two weeks ago.

Takesure Chinyama scored twice away and was on target again yesterday as the 1998 finalists sought a return to the big final.

In Tunis, the defending champions, Esperance, were a goal behind in the 28th minute when Lamine Fawo scored for Gambian side Brikama United to give the visitors a 2-1 aggregate lead after a 1-1 draw in the first leg two weeks ago.

But Esperance were level five minutes before the breather when Wadji Bouzaza hit the nets before they took the lead just before the break through a free kick by Youssef Maskani. Karim Aouadi scored the third in the 72nd minute to seal a 3-1 win and a 4-2 aggregate triumph.

This will be the second meeting in three years for Esperance and Dynamos after the Tunisians ran out 1-0 winners in the two games in the group stages of the same competition.

Qualification for the group stage guarantees a club $400 000.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe international Kingston Nkatha scored the second goal as Black Leopards of South Africa drew 2-2 with St Eloi Lupopo in Lubumbashi on Friday afternoon to qualify for the last 16 of the Caf Confederation Cup.

"Lidoda Duvha" won the first leg 4-2 a fortnight ago in Giyani, which put the aggregate score 6-4 in favour of the Limpopo side.

Leopards had to contend with the referee and the hostile crowd for the better part of the match, but with club boss David Thidiela watching from the stands, they fought gallantly to secure a 2-2 draw at the Stade Frederic Kibassa Maliba in Lubumbashi.

According to reports, Lupopo were on the attack from the outset, but the vociferous crowd was stunned into silence in the 16th minute, when David Zulu drew first blood.

Leopards defender Humphrey Khoza surged forward and in a desperate attempt to clear the ball to safety, Zulu was left unmarked by Lupopo and the ball fell kindly to him, and all he needed to do was round off the goalkeeper Kakinda Kaniki to slot home from a tight angle.

Towards the interval, the capacity crowd including DR Congo head coach Claude Le Roy witnessed some disgraceful scenes as two Lupopo fans ran from the grandstand to Postnett Omony's goal and appeared to sprinkle some liquid, juju perhaps, on the net one after the other and ran off the pitch back to the crowd.

Thidiela was hopping mad when he realised no action was taken against the two fans.

When the teams returned for the second half, Leopards coach Abel Makhubele aided by former Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa, rang the changes.

Makhubele took off the goalscorer Zulu and the inefficient Davi Banda and put in Nkatha and Edgar Manaka.

Leopards had the last laugh when Nkatha received the ball in the box after a scramble. He turned to fire home and incredibly, the linesman ruled for offside but the referee overruled him and the goal stood to make it 2-2.

DYNAMOS will face Tunisian giants Esperance in the second round of the CAF Champions League after cruising past Liga Desportivo Muçulmana de Maputo in a first round, second leg clash at Rufaro on Sunday.

Esperance beat Brikama United of Gambia 3-1 for a 4-2 aggregate win to set up the second meeting of the teams in three years.

Takesure Chinyama – scorer of both goals as they drew 2-2 in Maputo – grabbed his seventh in four matches for Dynamos with a 16th minute strike.

The striker profited from a Murape Murape set up and drilled a low shot which nestled in the bottom left corner.
That should have opened the floodgates, but Rodreck Mutuma and Denver Mukamba wasted several chances to establish a solid cushion.

Dynamos coach Calisto Pasuwa was content with the win, but warned of tough times ahead.
"We played well in the opening half, got the goal, but we wasted a number of chances in the second half. I hear Esperance won, so it means the matches ahead will be tougher," he said.

HARARE - Dynamos captain George Magariro has bullishly claimed that his team can defeat defending champions Esperance and feels the club's time has come to win the African Champions League.

Defender Magariro backed the Zimbabwean champions to dump the Tunisian giants out of the continent's premier club football competition when the two clubs clash in a two-legged second round.

The Glamour Boys booked their place in the second round of the competition after dispatching Mozambique's Liga Muculmana in the first round at the weekend on a 3-2 aggregate score.

Dynamos and Muculmana drew 2-2 in the first leg in Maputo two weeks ago with red-hot striker Takesure Chinyama netting a brace.

Liga scored through speedy forward Sterlio Ernesio and midfielder Luis Vaz to give themselves a chance of going into the second leg.

The Mozambicans' dream was dashed early in the second leg when the free-scoring Chinyama scored just after 17 minutes at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.

Dynamos' win at the weekend set up a huge clash with the Tunisian giants Esperance, who prevailed over Gambia's Brikama United 4-2 on aggregate.

In all their previous four Champions League meetings, the two-time African champions have beaten Dynamos each time. In fact, Dynamos are yet to score a goal in 360 hours of football against the North African side.

With history now heavily staked against DeMbare going into the second round, Magariro is optimistic that tables can be overturned this time around.

"We have to prepare very well for Esperance in the next round," Magariro told the Daily News.

"So far so good because our defence is playing well, the midfielders are also playing well and the strikers are now scoring goals. If we continue to work hard, we will be ready by the time we play Esperance later this month. We want to go all the way and win the cup."

To conquer Esperance, Dynamos will certainly have to improve on their first round performance against Liga.

Liga proved to be worthy opponents for Dynamos in the first round as their passing game troubled the Zimbabwean champions over the two legs.

Artur Semedo's team was let down by their over-elaboration when shooting from outside would have troubled Dynamos goalkeeper Washington Arubi.

"I'm happy we were able to contain them in the second leg much better than in the first leg," said Magariro.

"In the second leg we tracked them man for man and they could not play their normal game."

Dynamos coach Calisto Pasuwa also did his homework well, noticing that Liga's main threat was in the wings where fullbacks Mustafa Ishamail and Arlindo Gumaio pushed high up to give the team width.

To counter the tactic, Pasuwa opted to use striker Rodreck Mutuma wide on the left to keep Ishamail busy so that he would not venture upfront.

With their width curtailed, Liga's game was not very threatening on Sunday and in the end Semedo tinkered with his formation, pulling out Ishmail and Arlindo later in the second half.

Dynamos will now travel to Tunis for the first leg on the weekend of April 27-29 in a match they cannot afford to lose.

The second leg has been set for the weekend of May 11-13 at Rufaro.

"We learnt from last season when we lost to MC Algiers that away games will always be very tough," said Magariro.

"We have to play together as a team and not let them distract us with off-field tactics."

Last year Dynamos were knocked out of the competition in the second round when they lost 3-0 to MC Algiers in the second in Algeria after having won the first leg at Rufaro 4-1.

Le foot africain en général et celui du sud est continental en particulier a fait des pas de géant en avant ... Zambie, Zimbabwé... On a eu toutes peines du monde à nous débarrasser de cette équipe en bleu la dernière fois où on avait eu la confronter... Il faudrait s'en méfier comme du lait sur le feu, d'autant plus que nous jouons le retour chez eux. Nous devrons faire la différence à l'aller à Radès même. Pour cela, on ne pourra pas faire l'économie de soigner et travailler à fond notre efficacité devant la cage ... Pour le moral et pour nous faciliter la tâche au retour, nous devons marquer un maximum et ne rien encaisser ... et le différentiel doit être large

Motor Action dump Dynamos out of Independence Trophy

Zimmetro – Motor Action gained some measure of revenge on Dynamos after dumping the Premier League champions out of the Independence Trophy on Wednesday.

Gift Phiri and Ishmael Lawe scored either side of halftime of a rain-interrupted semi-final match at Rufaro to break Dynamos' three-match winning run over them.

Dynamos coach Callisto Pasuwa rested nine players from the team that beat Liga Muculamana in the Champions League including seven-goal striker Takesure Chinyama and Murape Murape, and the decision appeared to have undermined their goal threat against Motor Action who were at full strength.

Phiri curled in the opener from the edge of the box after seven minutes and Isaac Masame came close to doubling the lead 10 minutes before halftime but shot just over from a free-kick.

The match was suspended for five minutes after fans ran through the pitch towards the Western Grand Stand to shelter from some light showers.

Police unsuccessfully battled to push back the pitch invaders but found themselves outnumbered and gave up.

The match resumed under slippery conditions and Dynamos' Rodreck Mutuma – who later saw red, was booked for kicking the ball away following a foul.

Martin Vengesayi came close to drawing Dynamos level just after the hour mark but Dominic Mukandi bailed out his goalkeeper Marlon Jani with a goal-line salvage.

Back came Motor Action who broke clear with Masame who drew Washington Arubi out before passing to Lawe to finish in the 67th minute.

Referee Pedzisai Chadya then offered Dynamos a way back with a penalty award late on for a challenge on Vengesayi by Passmore Benard.

Rodreck Mutuma converted the spot kick but immediately picked up a second yellow for pushing Jani in an effort to retrieve the ball and restart the action.Hwange play FC Platinum at Barbourfields on Thursday in the second semi-final.

The final will be played at the National Sports Stadium on April 18.

Espérance – Dynamos samedi 28 avril

Les « Sang et Or » retrouvent la semaine prochaine la ligue africaine des clubs champions qui sera au stade des huitièmes de finales. Rappelons que son adversaire n'est autre que le Dynamos du Zimbabwe, une vieille connaissance pour l'équipe de Bab Souika.

Le match aller se déroulera samedi 28 à Radès à partir de 16 heures. Aucune décision n'a été prise pour le moment quant à la présence ou non des supporters.

Pour ce match , va falloir s'assurer de la qualification à RAdes ! Ca ne va pas etre facile surement mais pour ne pas partir au Zimbabwe sous pression , ce genre de déplacement sont dangereux et tout peut arriver .

Pasuwa worried about losing streak

Dynamos head coach Calisto Pasuwa is worried about the league champions' losing streak ahead of the second round first leg Caf Champions League away tie against defending champions Tunisian titans Esperance next weekend.

The Harare giants beat Mozambique's Liga Muculmana 1-0 at Rufaro Stadium in the second leg, first round of the Champions League to progress to the second round on a 3-2 aggregate after holding the Mozambicans 2-2 away.

After that win, Dynamos lost 2-1 to Motor Action in the semi-finals of the Independence Trophy on April 11 in a match that Pasuwa rested most of the regular players.

Last Saturday, the champions fell 1-0 to Monomotapa in their second league match at Rufaro Stadium.

On Wednesday, Dynamos lost 4-2 in a penalty shootout to Hwange after finishing 1-1 in regulation time in an exhilarating third and fourth place clash at White City Stadium.

It was Dynamos' second loss to Hwange in Bulawayo after they lost 2-0 at Barbourfields Stadium in the semi-finals of the Bob 88 Super Cup in February.

After Wednesday's match, Pasuwa said the losing trend could be working against his charges' confidence but they would be working hard in that area ahead of the tough encounter against Esperance.

"The better team of the day won. The formation that we used today (Wednesday) is the same formation that we would have wanted to use in our away match against Esperance, including the changes that we made in the second half.

"We are worried about the three losses so far as it could work against the boys' confidence but we have to motivate them so that we are ready when we go to Tunisia," Pasuwa said.

Former Legia Warsaw forward Takesure Chinyama rifled a thunderbolt which tore through the Hwange wall and past goalkeeper Timothy Sibanda in the 83rd minute after the coal miners had drawn first blood through a spot kick by former skipper Gerald Ndlovu in the 76th minute.

Devon Chafa, Milton Makopa and Tichaona Mabvura had a good game on Wednesday while Aaron Katebe and former captain Ndlovu kept the menacing Chinyama at bay.

Dynamos take on Black Mambas at Rufaro on Sunday in a league match.

After beating Dembare for the second time this year on Wednesday, Hwange technical manager Tennant Chilumba said it was a deserved victory and believes he has finally come up with a team for the 2012 season.

"I am happy and the boys have really gelled. It was quite a good performance. If we are to keep this form, I am sure we will go very far this season," Chilumba said.

Young Francisco Zvikumbawire tormented the Dynamos defence of captain George Magariro, David Kutyauripo, Ocean Mushure and Partson Jaure.

The coal miners head for Gweru on Sunday, where they take on new Premiership boys Hardbody in their third league match of the season.

Dynamos FC renoue avec la victoire

Après sa série de mauvais résultats, 3 défaites en une semaine, l'adversaire de l'Espérance, samedi prochain à Radès, en CAF Champions League 2012, Dynamos FC s'est repris et a renoué avec la victoire en venant à bout des Black Mambas 4 - 1, dans le cadre de la Premier League zimbabwéenne.

Sans pour autant convaicre, Dynamos a réussi à passer 4 buts à son adversaire. Les buts ont été marqués par Denver Mukamba (6'), Rodreck Mutuma (22'), Takesure Chinyama (65') et Kumbirai Kapikunyu (90' csc). Kasimero Chimbadzwa a marqué l'unique but des Mambas (54' sp).

Chinyama, auteur des trois buts de Dynamos en cette CL 2012, passeur décisif sur le second but, confirme ses dons de buteur et est à surveiller de près par les nôtres.

Dynamos est désormais 5è au classement général, avec 6 points en trois matchs (2 victoires et une défaite), à deux longueurs du leader, Shabanie Mine (8 points en 4 rencontres).

Les Glamour Boys, qui comptent un match en moins, ont marqué 7 buts et encaissé deux.

w'Allahi si BenM'radMachouche a tout á fait raison. Taraji devrait jouer le match aller á Harare. Je connais bien l'ambiance chez nos frères du Zimbabwe ou il est souvent difficile aux équipes etrangères de s'imposer face aux equipes locales, meme si les Sang et Or ont remporté leur dernière confrontation face au Dynamos 2 years ago. Il est par conséquent plus qu'imperatif de s'imposer par un score rassurant ce samedi á Radès. It would be super not to concede a goal and to score at least three but do we have the capacity to do so. That's my strong wish anyway.

Je ne pense pas que le tirage au sort tienne compte de cette particularité. Il n'y a aucun autre avantage a être champion sortant que de passer automatiquement le 1er tour preliminaire et d'être tête se serie en poule.

Dynamos FC : Direction Tunis !

L'Espérance Sportive de Tunis accueille ce samedi, au stade de Radès, à partir de 16h00, le Dynamos FC pour le compte des huitièmes de finale de la CAF Champions League 2012.

Vol régulier

C'est aujourd'hui, annonce la presse locale, que le Dynamos FC s'envole vers Tunis. Les zimbabwéens rallieront la Tunisie via l'Afrique du Sud puis l'Allemagne, dans un voyage pris en charge par leur sponsor.

Absences et retours

Le coach Calisto Pasuwa a déclaré aux medias zimbabwéens qu'il compte faire confiance essentiellement aux joueurs prêts physiquement et mentalement pour ce rendez-vous capital. Il n'a pas l'intention de prendre des risques en alignant, par exemple, Leo Kurauzvione, convalescent, après une blessure contracté face au Motor Action.

Manquera à l'appel également Thomas Magorimbo qui ne s'est pas entraîné la semaine dernière après s'être excusé pour un … mariage le weekend.

Guthrie Zhokinyi est toujours suspendu. Suite à son expulsion lors de l'édition précédente à la 90è minute du match retour des huitièmes face au Mouloudia Club d'Alger, il a écopé d'une suspension de quatre matches. Il a purgé deux et il lui reste deux autres.

Cependant, les DeMbare font tout pour récupérer les deux pièces maitresses du milieu Misheck Makopa et Devon Chafa. Récupérables, Makopa, blessé face aux Black Mambas en Premier Soccer League, et son coéquipier Chafa, victime d'un petit coup lors du même match, seront du voyage à Tunis.

"Nous sommes en train de suivre les deux joueurs de très près; Chafa a pris un petit coup lors du match du weekend dernier, mais je pense qu'ils seront tout les deux prêts", avait déclaré Pasuwa aux médias de la place.

"Nous ne prendrons aucun risque. Ce sera un match dur et nous avons besoin de nos joueurs les plus forts. C'est pour cela d'ailleurs que nous nous sommes passés des services de Kurauzvione, dont l'expérience nous aurait été utile, et de Magorimbo, qui ne s'est pas entrainé pour presqu'une semaine maintenant" a ajouté le coach de Dynamos.

L'état des lieux

Les Glamour Boys ont repris du poil de la bête en battant les Black Mambas (4 – 1) après 3 revers consécutifs, comme annoncé, hier, dans notre Fil Info.

Lors de ce match, le buteur de l'équipe, Takesure Chinyama, surnommé "Wonder Boy", auteur des 3 buts de Dynamos en Champions League, a retrouvé le chemin des filets et a marqué son quatrième but de la saison en championnat local. Il a aussi été passeur décisif à deux reprises, sur des buts des Denver Mukamba et Rodrick Mutuma.

Chinyama n'a pas été le seul joueur en vue. Mutuma, buteur de la saison écoulé, avec 14 réalisations, a enfin réinscrit son nom sur la liste des buteurs.

Tawanda Muparati s'est illustré, quant à lui, au niveau de la ligne médiane de l'adversaire zimbabwéen.

Leçons à retenir par nous de la défaite du club catalan en CL face à Chelsea:
1) Un champion sortant quelque soit son statut, palmarès peut être éliminé à tout stade de la compétition.

2) Sous estimer ou ne pas prendre un adversaire à la légère sous prétexte qu'il est théoriquement inférieur, ne pas se préparer comme pour un match crucial est tout bonnement suicidaire. Aligner quelqu'un en méforme parce qu'il s'appelle Pierre ou Paul dans ce cas relève de l'amateurisme primaire.

3) Un match n'est jamais gagné avant le sifflet final. Mener largement au score, jouer en supériorité numérique ne garantissent nullement le succès. La constante concentration, le maintien de son calme et son application sont les maîtres mots: rater des occasions faciles, voire des pénalties, commettre des fautes tactiques se paient cher et cash à un moment ou un autre.

4) Les clubs supposés favoris trouvent souvent sur leur route des équipes qui jouent la défense à outrance. De véritables lignes Maginot faites de 10 voire 11 joueurs agglutinés autour de leur 16.50 m en plusieurs rideaux. La consigne est de fermer le jeu, gagner du temps e faire de l'anti-jeu. Tomber dans le piège de l'impatience ou de l'énervement est contre productif. Il faut au contraire varier son jeu, ne pas s'obstiner à forcer le passage par l'axe, en tentant plutôt de s'infiltrer par les ailes, travailler les tirs lointains et les coups de pied arrêtés. Balancer des centrages longs et aériens au petit bonheur la chance vers l'avant c'est la plus sur moyen de faire chou blanc...

5) Trouver un porte bonheur, un talisman, ou un chapelet, se croiser les doigts et prier fort toutes les divinités et espérer que l'une d'elle entende ces prières !!!

Dynamos FC : Patience et endurance !

Milton Makopa suspendu

La délégation du Dynamos FC, qui a quitté hier mardi Harare pour arriver aujourd'hui à Tunis, s'est déplacée avec un joueur suspendu ! En effet, Milton Makopa a accompagné ses coéquipiers avant qu'on ne découvre suite à une notification de la CAF que le milieu de terrain était suspendu pour somme d'avertissements !

Les médias locaux ont mis l'accent sur cette gestion défectueuse et embarrassante des dossiers administratifs par les clubs zimbabwéens.

Réagissant à la suspension, le secrétaire du club, Ray Kazembé a déclaré à un quotidien de la place que : "Selon une correspondance que nous venons de recevoir de la CAF, Milton Makopa est suspendu pour le match contre l'Espérance. La lettre ne mentionne pas le motif de la suspension, mais nous ne pouvons que supposer que c'est à cause du nombre de cartons jaunes reçus. Nous sommes déçus par la notification tardive parce que la lettre est venue bien après que l'équipe ait quitté. Nous ne pouvons pas blâmer la ZIFA sur ça parce que c'est la CAF qui a fait parvenir la correspondance avec du retard."

Kazembé a ajouté que le coach Callisto Pasuwa pourrait être poussé à demander à un remplaçant de rejoindre la délégation aujourd'hui mercredi. Comme nous l'avons annoncé dans notre article d'hier "Dynamos FC : Direction Tunis !" les Glamour Boys à faire le déplacement sont au nombre de dix-huit pas plus.

Conférence de presse de Pasuwa

Callisto Pasuwa a tenu une conférence de presse avant le départ … à l'aéroport international de Harare, sous l'égide du sponsor du club. Il a été accompagné par les joueurs George Magariro et Takesure Chinyama. Lors de ce point de presse, l'entraîneur de Dynamos a indiqué que les DeMbare auront à développer un jeu patient au stade de Radès. "Nous partons à une fosse aux lions. Nous savons que l'Espérance est le champion d'Afrique et nous allons procéder avec précaution. Au cours des 45 premières minutes, nous devrons faire preuve de prudence ce qui signifie évoluer avec un milieu de terrain renforcé et un seul attaquant de pointe. Nous pourrions changer cela à la mi-temps, mais il est important de resserrer les rangs", a-t-il précisé.

Pasuwa tâchera à ce que ses protégés ne prennent pas un but précoce. Tout en admettant la nécessité de la prudence, Pasuwa n'a pas manqué à dire aux siens que l'Espérance pourrait être battue. "J'ai dit aux garçons que nous allons jouer contre les champions d'Afrique, mais nous pouvons les battre dans leur cour et c'est faisable" a martelé le coach des zimbabwéens.

Évoquant l'arbitrage maison en Afrique, l'ancien milieu des Warriors a ajouté : "Dans le football africain, quand vous jouez en déplacement, il y a une tendance de mauvais arbitrage, ce qui fait que le fait qu'ils vont jouer le match retour chez nous nous arrange !"

Qu'insinue-t-il ? Voilà les nôtres donc déjà avertis ! N'oublions surtout pas qu'en 2010, les Dynamos ont roulé pour le Tout Pourri Mazembe, sauf que l'Espérance était plus forte. Sachant la corruption des congolais, la finale aller 2010 et l'affaire Janvier Besala Bokungu, il faut se méfier de tout et de rien !

Bobos de santé

Quelques Glamour Boys souffrent de légères blessures mais restent tous récupérables au plus tard demain jeudi, selon les médecins du club. Exception faite de Milton Makopa, suspendu, Devon Chafa, touché au genou, Washington Arubi et Takesure Chinyama, victimes de chocs mineurs, seront donc de la partie samedi. Le reste des Glamour Boys sont au point. "S'ils ne récupérent pas à temps, nous avons d'autres joueurs utiles dans l'équipe. Par exemple, des gars comme Timire Mamvura et Denver Mukamba peuvent jouer même en tant qu'axiaux et Murape Murape possède également de l'expérience sans oublier le jeune Jaure Partson qui peut aussi évoluer en tant que milieu de terrain défensif", rassure Pasuwa.

La campagne la mieux organisée

En fin de sa locution, le coach n'a pas tari d'éloges sur le sponsor du club : "J'ai pris part à la Ligue des champions avec Dynamos dans le passé et je dois dire que celle la a été la campagne la mieux organisée que j'ai vécu jusqu'ici dans ma carrière à la fois d'entraîneur et de joueur. Nous arriverons en Tunisie trois jours avant le match ce qui va nous donner suffisamment de temps pour nous acclimater".

Chinyama : Prêts pour relever le défi

Le buteur de Dynamos, 4 buts en Premier Soccer League et 3 en Champions League, estime qu'il est prêt pour ce rendez-vous.

"C'est un grand match. Ils sont les champions de la Tunisie et nous sommes les champions du Zimbabwe. Nous allons les respecter en dehors du terrain car ils sont les champions d'Afrique, mais sur le terrain, nous ne leur montrerons pas trop de respect.

Je ne vais pas me mettre une pression pour marquer des buts tout seul parce que nous jouons comme une équipe. Nous voulons rentrer avec un bon résultat pour nos fans et pour la nation", a déclaré Chinyama.

En deux groupes

Les zimbabwéens ont rallié hier l'Afrique du Sud en deux groupes. Le premier, composé de 25 membres y compris les 18 joueurs, à quitté Harare aux alentours de 14h30, le second quelques heures plus tard, vers 17h00, avec le reste de la délégation. Destination Dubaï, avant de n'atterrir aujourd'hui à Tunis.
