Reigning Champions, Esperance Sunday night completed a double over Nigeria's Sunshine Stars in the final group game of the CAF Champions League winning by a lone goal.

Difference

An own goal by Jude Ebitogwa in the 54th minute ensured that the Tunisian giants stay atop in Group A.

Sunday night result means Sunshine Stars finish as runners up in Group A and will now face Group B winners, which could be either of TP Mazembe or Al-Ahly, as the order in Group B will not be decided until the final round of matches are played.

Deja vu

Esperance had also defeated Sunshine Stars in Nigeria when they played the first round of the matches in the group phase. The Tunisians won 2-0 at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode.
