Espérance Sportive de Tunis (EST) defeated Club Athlétique Bizertin (CAB) 3-1 on Saturday at Stade 15 Octobre in a day 7 match of Tunisia's Ligue 1.

The Blood and Gold took the lead when Fakhreddine Ben Youssef headed home a Saâd Beguir corner kick (40').

In the second half, Taha Yassine Khenissi imitated Ben Youssef and his header from yet another corner kick delivered by Beguir made it 2-0 for Espérance (53').

Hamza Mathlouthi pulled one back from the spot (86').

Three minutes later, Ilyès Jelassi reassured Espérance fans when from a free kick he sent the ball in the net (89').

Espérance lineup: Ben Chérifia, Mbarki, Chammam, Dhaouadi, Machani, Ragued (c), Coulibaly, Rejaïbi (Bulbwa 72'), Ben Youssef, Beguir (Jelassi 80') and Khenissi (Jouini 78').

Yellow cards: Jouini, Ben Chérifia, Chammam and Coulibaly.
