Tunis, Tunisia, March 23, 2017 - Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel beat their neighbours Esperance in a fantastic Marathon of 5 sets 3-2 (25-19, 18-25, 25-22, 23-25, 17-15) in more than 2 hours of thrills and exciting rallies in the quarterfinal of the 2017 Men's African Club Championship at Taraji Hall in Tunis, Tunisia on Thursday.

Etoile qualified to the semifinal to meet Swehly of Libya, while Orgainizers Esperance play Assarya of Libya for 5 to 8 positions.

Etoile succeeded to decrease the point deficit in the first set to win 25-19 in front of full house of spectators before Esperance draw 1-1. Again opposite spiker Marouen Garci led Etoile to lead again 2-1 in sets before they were ahead 23-20 in the fourth set, The huge spectators lead Esperance comeback to win the set 25-23 after they scored 5 successive points. The tiebreak was more exciting as Etoile succeeded to win 17-15 after great fighting.
