(TAP - adapted) - The final of the Arab Football Championship that will pit Tunisia's Espérance ST against Jordan's Al-Faisaly will take place next Sunday at 7 p.m (Tunisian time) in Alexandria Stadium in the place of Borj Al-Arab's, the Arab Football Union announced on Friday.

At the request of the organising committee, the final and the closing ceremony will take place in Alexandria stadium, said the same source.

Espérance had qualified for the final after defeating at the semi-final on Thursday evening Morocco's FUS Rabat 2-1 after extra time (1-1 at the end of full time).

Scorers:

FUS Rabat: Hamza Sammoumi (28)

Espérance: Khalil Chammam (47) and Taha Yassine Khenissi (95).

Jordan's Al-Faisaly qualified for the final after beating Egypt's Al Ahly 2-1 on Wednesday.
