The defender - who narrowly missed out on World Cup place - is currently locked in £1million payout dispute with rival Tunisian club

BILEL MOHSNI has kickstarted his career with a move to Tunisian champions Esperance.

The former Rangers and Dundee United defender left Tannadice at the end of their unsuccessful play-off campaign, after a short term deal in Tayside.

He was hoping to earn a shock place at the World Cup after being named in a 28-man squad by manager Nabil Maaloul for a training camp in Switzerland.

But was given the heart-breaking news last week that he was one of five players dropped for the Finals in Russia.

However, he’s opted to sign a one-year deal with the Tunis outfit.
