Glo-CAF Awards 2017: Six Tunisian nominees

Six Tunisian players are vying for the Best African Player and Best African Player of the Year Awards in 2017 (Glo-Caf Awards), whose list of nominees was announced Wednesday by the Confederation of African Football.

Al Ahly's Tunisian left-back, Ali Maaloul, is in the extended list of nominees for the title of best African player, along with his compatriot Youssef Msakni who plays at Qatari club Al-Duhail.

Tunisians Aymen Mathlouthi (Etoile du Sahel), Ali Maaloul (Al Ahly / Egypt), Karim Aouadhi (CS Sfaxien), Saber Khalifa (Club Africain) and Taha Yassine Khenissi (Esperance Tunis) were nominated for the title of best player based in Africa.
