Espérance Sportive de Tunis will play Cameroon's FAP at the quarter-final of the African Handball Champions League on Thursday at 9 p.m.

Esperance had lost their last game in the first round (Group A) to Egypt's Al Ahly 24-29 (first half: 8-14), finishing second behind Al Ahly and ahead of Congo's Caiman and Cameroon's Minuh.

Cameroon's FAP ranked third in Group B behind Egypt's Zamalek (1st) and Morocco's Widad Smara (2nd).

The other quarter-final games will pit Al Ahly against JS Kinshasa, Congo's Caiman against Widad Smara and Zamalek against Cameroon's Minuh.

During their first three games in Group A, Esperance had defeated Congo's Caiman (37-21), Cameroon's Minuh (37-21) and Rwanda's HBC Police (43-20).
