Tunisia won the U19 Volleyball African Nations Championship and booked their ticket for the 2017 World Championship after beating Egypt 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-22), at a day-3 and last of the four-team tournament played in Kelibia, Tunisia.

Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco and Rwanda took part in the championship.

Tunisia, who had defeated Morocco 3-0 and Rwanda (3-1), finished on the top (9 pts) ahead of Egypt (6 pts) who had beaten Morocco 3-0 and Rwanda 3-1.

Morocco ended third after defeating Rwanda 3-0.

Tunisia, who garnered their 8th title (1994, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2016), will represent Africa at the 2017 World Championship in Bahrain.
