Tunisia's national U19 handball team (men's) won the Junior Handball African Nations Championship after beating Egypt's 26-25, at a final game played on Friday in Bamako.

The Tunisian and Egyptian teams qualified for the next Youth World Championship 2017 due in Udine (Italy), as well as the Algerian team after defeating DR Congo (22-15), in ranking match (3rd-4th places).

Eight countries participated in this competition of the 2016 Junior Handball African Nations Championship (U19) which ends on Friday and will be followed by the 2016 Junior Handball African Nations Championship (U21) due on September 11-18 also in Mali with the participation of six countries including Tunisia.
