Espérance's Nigerian winger Bernard Bulbwa lost his mother last Wednesday 24 August 2016, and yet he kept it to himself and announced it only after the team won Tunisia's soccer cup on Saturday 27 August 2016.

Bulbwa played his part in Saturday's game "with a heavy heart," as he put it. He dedicated Espérance's final victory to his late mother.
