Tunisian Oussama Oueslati has won the men's welterweight 68-80kg taekwondo bronze medal after defeating American Steven López 14-5.

This is the third medal for Tunisia in the Rio Olympics. The first one, a bronze, was won by Ines Boubakri in women’s fencing. The second, also a bronze, was won by Marwa Amri in the under-58 kg women’s wrestling.
