Esperance ST have qualified for the semi-finals of the Africa Handball Clubs Championship after defeating Gabon's Phoenix 38-24 at a quarter-final game played on Thursday in Nabeul.
Tunisia's AS Hammamet, host club, also booked their ticket for the semi-finals after knocking out Morocco's Wided Smara 31-26 at a game played in Hammamet.
Egypt's Zamalek had also qualified for the same round after beating Cameroon's FAP 26-21.
Holders, Egypt's Al Ahly booked the last ticket for the semi-finals after defeating DR Congo's JS Kinshasa 30-15 at a quarter-final game played on Thursday evening in Hammamet.
The semi-finals will bring together the two Tunisian clubs Esperance and AS Hammamet on the one side and the two Egyptian Al Ahly and Zamalek on the other.
