Esperance Tunis, host club, Etoile du Sahel and CS Sfaxien will be the three representatives of Tunisia at the African Volleyball Clubs Championship scheduled from March 15 to 28 in Tunis.
Esperance of Tunis, four-time champions of Africa, Etoile du Sahel, double winners of the event, and CS Sfaxien, six-time continental champions, will compete with 21 other African clubs, including Zamalek and Al Ahly of Egypt, President of the Tunisian Volleyball Federation, Firas Falèh told TAP, adding that Egypt’s Al Jaish, title holders, will be the great absentee of this tournament.
Games will take place in Zouaoui and Sidi Bousaid halls.
The African Clubs Championship is qualifying for the World Championships scheduled from December 11 to 17, 2017 in Poland.
