Espérance Sportive de Tunis (EST) qualified, on Saturday 20 August, for the final of Tunisia's soccer cup after defeating Stade Gabésien (SG) 2-1.
In the first half, Hichem Essifi scored the opener for SG from the spot (19'). Taha Yassine Khenissi scored the equalizer (56') and then made it 2-1 for Espérance from the spot (70').
In the final, Espérance will meet Club Africain (CA) who defeated Avenir Sportif de la Marsa (ASM) on shoot-out penalties 6-5 after the match ended in a draw 1-1.
The final is set for Saturday 27 August.
